Ingredients & Notes
- Papad – Any brand of Papad works for this recipe. A popular brand is Lijat Papad, available at many Indian stores or online on Amazon. We recommend using simple papad, like the black pepper or cumin variety so that it pairs with the veggies.
- Onion – Fresh, red onions add crunch and a little heat to the masala papad snack.
- Cilantro – We love adding cilantro to add a little freshness.
- Chaat Masala – Chaat masala is a special spice blend used in many Chaat or street food dishes. It is tangy, a little spicy, and super addictive.
You can also top them with whatever else you have on hand, whether it is fresh veggies, like tomatoes, or corn, or even a few chilis to create your own twist.
