How to make Khopra Pak?
The recipe for this Khopra Pak really only has two steps, and comes together in less than 10 minutes!
Step #1: Add condensed milk, desiccated coconut, and other ingredients
To start, to a pot on super low heat, add the condensed milk, and a little water to thin out the condensed milk.
Then add the desiccated coconut, vanilla, and liquid food color. Both the vanilla and food color are really optional ingredients, and you can really make this sweet without either of those ingredients.
Step #2: Pack the mixture into a buttered dish and garnish
Prepare a 8 x 8 baking pan by brushing just a bit of butter (or oil). Transfer the cooked mixture to the pan.
Then, using a back of a spoon or spatula, press down until the coconut mixture is as packed as can be!
Lastly, sprinkle some chopped pistachios and/or almonds and slice the khopra pak in the pan.
Let it rest in the pan for at least a couple of hours, until ready to serve.

- 1 lb Dessicated coconut, unsweetened about 5 cups
- 14 oz Condensed milk 1 can
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- few drops Food coloring any color
- 1-2 tbsp Butter
- 3 tbsp Chopped almonds
- 3 tbsp Chopped pistachio
Instructions
- In a shallow pot, on very low heat, add the sweetened condensed milk, with 3- 4 tbsp of water. Once the water has combined with the condensed milk, add liquid or gel food coloring, vanilla essence and dessicated coconut.

- Sprinkle with crushed pistachio and/or almonds.
- Cut into cubes and let rest until completely cool (about 2-3 hours).
