Our Favorite Eid Desserts: 11 Traditional Sweet Recipes

Looking for desserts for Eid? These are some of our favorite South Asian sweets to serve during the holiday, from classics like gulab jamun and ras malai to refreshing treats like falooda and mango lassi.

Eid celebrations in our home always end with something sweet on the table. After a big festive meal, there’s usually a mix of traditional desserts, chilled drinks, and small treats to share with family and friends. From comforting classics like sheer khurma and ras malai to refreshing favorites like fruit chaat and mango lassi, these are the kinds of sweets that make Eid feel extra special.

Over the years, these have become some of our favorite South Asian desserts to serve during Eid. Some are traditional recipes we grew up with, while others are newer favorites that have slowly made their way onto our Eid table, along with a few lighter treats that feel just right for a springtime Eid.
