Recipe Tips
- Dahi Puri tastes best fresh. Prepare the ingredients and toppings and assemble them immediately before you are ready to serve.
- You can find the puri for dahi puri at most South Asian grocery stores. It is the same puris or golgappas you would use for Pani Puri.
- We recommend using full-fat yogurt or dahi. Or mix regular yogurt with some Greek yogurt to thicken it. You want your yogurt to be slightly thick rather than runny.
- Typically we like homemade khajur imli chutney and green chutney on our dahi puri, but your favorite store-bought brand will work great as a substitute!
- If hosting a group, you can set out all the toppings and have guests assemble their own plates!
