Chicken Shami Kabab

Chicken meat patty made with shredded chicken and split chickpeas, then fried in an egg mixture. Perfect as a snack, appetizer, or a quick lunch.

You will need:  - Boneless Chicken  - Chana Daal (split chickpeas) - Yellow onions - Potato – Red chilli whole – Garam Masala – Eggs – Cilantro

Cook the chicken, lentils, potato, onion and red chilli until everything is cooked and soft. Process until the mixture is smooth.

Add the rest of the spices and mix.

Roll 2 heaping tablespoons of the mixture into a ball, and flatten to form a disc.

Whisk 1 egg, and dip the shaped kabab into the egg

Fry until golden brown on both sides.

Serve shami kabab as an appetizer or snack with chutney and sliced onion.
